The climate of Goa is temperate as the cool breeze of Arabian Sea soothes the scorching heat. The Monsoon period falls in between June and September and one should avoid this period. The average temperature is about 25 to 30 degree Celsius and the average rainfall is 325 centimeters.

The coldest months in Goa are January and February. May is the hottest month in Goa. Goa receives rain from south west Monsoon in the month of July and it continues till September. After monsoon, the climate in Goa becomes humid. From October to February, the climate of Goa becomes pleasant with clear sky and cool days. From onwards March, the climate of Goa again becomes humid.
